About Me

Education

Educational History:

I graduated from Crossett High School in Crossett, Arkansas in 2009. I then came to Texas to attend Baylor University. I obtained both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Baylor, graduating in 2013 and 2014 respectively

Degrees and Certifications:

I obtained a B.A. in History from Baylor University in 2013. Afterwards, I decided to follow the teaching route and earned an MSEd. in Curriculum and Instruction from Baylor in 2014. I am certified to teach both English and Social Studies at the secondary level.

Current Position:

This is my second year teaching at Troy High School. I teach English I. I will also be sponsoring the Social Studies UIL team.

Previous Position:

I started my teaching career in 2014. Prior to teaching at Troy, I taught English in Bruceville-Eddy ISD and Midway ISD.

Family Information:

I have been married to my wife, Chelsea, since 2014.

We have two young children, Evangeline and Samuel.

Personal Information:

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my children, reading, writing, playing video games, and swimming.
