Education

Educational History:

I am a graduate from Troy High School in 1985.   
I graduated from Tarleton State University in 1988.

Degrees and Certifications:

I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish in 1988.  In 2015 I earned a certification in English as a Second Language.

 

Professional Development:

I attend many hours of professional development throughout the years.  I have attended the Texas Foreign Language Conference and the Title III Symposium.  

Current Position:

I’m a Troy High School graduate, Class of 1985. I earned a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Spanish from Tarleton State University in 1988.  This year will be my 21st year here at Troy High School.

Previous Position:

Before coming back home to Troy I completed 12 years in Killeen ISD.

Family Information:

My husband, Michael (THS Class of '85) and I have 2 children who are also Trojans, Brandon (2010) and Bethany (2016). Michael is the General Manager for Service at Garlyn Shelton Auto Group. Brandon is a graduate of Texas A&M University and is employed as the Operations and Inventory Planning Analyst in The Supply Chain Operations Department at Kawaski Coporation in Ft. Worth.   Bethany graduated from Tarleton State University and is teaching first grade at Academy Elementary School.
