Troy Trojan Band Shines at UIL Marching Contest!

Yesterday, the Troy Trojan Band took the field and earned Division 1 ratings, advancing to the Area round! 💪🎺 Their hard work, teamwork, and Trojan pride showed in every moment of the performance.
Drum Major Hannah said her favorite part of being in the Trojan Band family is “that everyone works together and that everyone is grateful to be here.” Color Guard Captain Ava shared that “we always say a prayer and do pep talks before and after equipment warm-up,” and Drum Major Owen added he was proud the band “was able to do the double tonguing technique — we worked hard over the summer and in practice and we were able to do it today.”
When asked to describe the performance in one word, the leaders said it best: Heartfelt. Progress. Amazing. ❤️💛
