Road Construction to Begin on West Main Street

The City of Troy's contractor plans to begin a major road improvement on West Main Street on February 5.  The City Administrator expects to see completion around late March through April 2025.  Work will begin near First National Bank and progress eastward.  Total closure of Main Street near the traffic light at I35 will be required, but not before the end of this school year.  That section should be completed and available for use before the first day of school in August 2024.  We encourage extra safety awareness and patience during this city project to improve West Main Street.
