Troy Commencement Ceremony 2024

Troy, TX - The Cadence Bank Center was abuzz with excitement on Tuesday, May 21 as Troy Independent School District held its commencement ceremony for the class of 2024.
A total of 116 students received their high school diplomas, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey.

Superintendent Neil Jeter commended the graduating class for their unwavering dedication and perseverance, echoing their class motto: "Never Back Down, Never Give Up!"
Valedictorian and class president Peyten Crawford delivered a heartfelt commencement speech, taking his fellow classmates on a nostalgic trip down memory lane, from early elementary days at Mays Elementary to senior photos. Salutatorian Archer Ford also addressed the graduating class, reflecting on the countless hours and minutes they've spent in school.
The ceremony also recognized three outstanding students who graduated from the Texas Bioscience Institute Middle College program: Hannah Langley, Matthew Reynoso, and Archer Ford.

The event was a joyous celebration of the graduates' achievements, with proud family members, friends, and educators in attendance to share in the momentous occasion. The class of 2024 now looks to the future, equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen paths.
