After a dramatic and hard-fought comeback in their best of three series against the Franklin Lady Lions, the Troy Trojanette Softball Team is heading to the Semi-Regional Finals to take on the Huntington Devilettes!

Last week’s series began with a tough 11-1 loss at home under heavy rain and tough conditions. But the Trojanettes bounced back in a big way. Game 2, held at Baylor University on Saturday, saw the girls dominate with an 11-1 victory, resetting the momentum.

Game 3 brought more weather related shifts, including a location move from Franklin to West and multiple time changes.
Despite the challenges, the Trojanettes came out swinging! Literally. Defeating Franklin 15-5. Big bats showed up in a major way, with Laney, Izzy, and Jae Jae each sending home run shots over the fence to help seal the win.

Now, the team looks ahead to Round 3: the Semi-Regional Championship!
