Three Troy High School Seniors set to compete at the UIL State Track & Field Meet

Three standout Troy High School seniors are set to compete at the UIL State Track & Field Meet this Thursday, May 1, at Mike A. Myers Track & Soccer Stadium in Austin, Texas. They’re entering the final stretch of their high school careers with serious motivation and ambition to break more records.

Grayson Williams captured two regional titles, dominating both the 3200m and the 1600m.
He’ll compete in the 3200m at 9:00 AM and the 1600m during the 5:00 PM session. -
Ashley Mersch earned a spot at state in discus after throwing a massive personal record, coming within inches of breaking the school record. Her throw also crowned her the 2025 Regional Champion.
She’ll take on the state field events beginning at 9:00 AM. -
Micah McKissick made history at regionals, a new school record and personal best and secured his place at state. He'll also compete during the 9:00 AM field events session.
All three athletes will represent Troy ISD with pride as they compete among the best in Texas.
