Troy High School Powerlifters Excel at Regionals, Advance to State

The Troy High School powerlifting team delivered an outstanding performance against 12 other districts at the Texas High School Women's Powerlifting Association (THSWPA) Region 2 3A Large regional powerlifting meet in Dublin, Texas. Troy girls powerlifting brought home multiple top finishes and qualified five athletes for the state championship. Senior Jaelyn Jade "Jae Jae" Phillips and junior Bailey Maedgen, both veterans of the program, led the charge with dominant victories in their respective weight classes.

Troy’s powerlifting program has proven itself as a powerhouse, producing top-tier athletes who are competing at the highest level. With five lifters advancing to state, the team looks to continue its dominance and bring home championship titles.
